Le site/réseau (on n'y échappera plus aux réseaux dans l'avenir) Knol semble vouloir être beaucoup plus léché graphiquement que Wikipédia, met en vedette l'auteur avec sa photo, est sous licence Créative Commons (un première je crois pour Google) et semble vouloir aborder bizarrement toute de sorte de sujets !
The goal is for knols to cover all topics, from scientific concepts, to medical information, from geographical and historical, to entertainment, from product information, to how-to-fix-it instructions. Google will not serve as an editor in any way, and will not bless any content. All editorial responsibilities and control will rest with the authors. We hope that knols will include the opinions and points of view of the authors who will put their reputation on the line. Anyone will be free to write.
Avant d'y lire ceci je croyais le projet possible, maintenant j'en doute fortement et je crois que Google devrait garder son rôle d'aggrégateur d'informations et de se tenir loin de l'édition surtout qu'avec son moteur de recherche il servira d'une façon ou non d'éditeur par la bande en proposant les articles en bonne position ou non dans ses résultats.
